Safe Harbor’s paid and unpaid staff showed up in full force to educate legislators at Virginia’s General Assembly. The Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance organizes advocates annually for this effort. On January 25, 2012, advocates descended upon the General Assemly to share information about pending legislation and its impact on those surviving sexual and domestic violence.
