Donate Goods

Our needs are great. Since most of our residents come to us with very little, there is a constant need to purchase personal care items for these families. We also need household items to maintain our house, and food to provide meals to our residents. We are NOT able to accept clothing, books, stuffed animals, toys or furniture.

Due to health regulations we can only accept items which are new and unopened, and not expired. Because of our limited storage space we are unable to accept donations of clothing, toys or books.

Donations can be dropped off at our community offices which are located at 2006 Bremo Road, Suite 201 (The Richmond Medical Park).  Drop off hours are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 9am – 3pm.  If these hours don’t work for you, we can make special arrangements.  If you have any questions, please call our office at (804)249-9470 or email info@safeharborshelter.com.

NEW — With the launch of our new human trafficking shelter, we need the community’s help furnishing the shelter. Please use the provided registries to help us create a welcoming space for our clients.
