WHO:
Student survivors of sexual abuse or sexual assault who are enrolled in any local college or university. This is a mixed-gender group and survivors of all gender identities and/or expressions are welcomed.
WHAT:
Safe Harbor in collaboration with Virginia Commonwealth University and University of Richmond is providing students with a closed 10 week group beginning 10.6.15 10-11:30am. Survivors of sexual assault/abuse will have the opportunity to connect with other survivors and know they are not alone. In this group, survivors will learn a variety of ways to cope and heal from their experience. A combination of cognitive and expressive/art therapies will facilitate the healing process.
