Safe Harbor was honored to be chosen as the recipient of funds for Richmond’s 2012 Shimmy Mob. The event was held Saturday, May 12 at the James Center. Shimmy Mobs have been held around the world as those dedicated to belly dancing work to raise awareness and funds for women’s and children’s shelters. This event raised over $550 for Safe Harbor.
