The internet allows us to share information in ways we never imagined! Safe Harbor’s Public Information Manager Angela Verdery was featured on WTVR CBS6’s Virginia This Morning on Monday, February 20 discussing “Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month.” This story was picked up across the country. This link leads to the LA Times. Very exciting that the message reached so many!

Was a very good interview!!! Angela said something very important: It’s very easy to deny that one of our beloved teen is in troubles. Now, I will pay attention to my nearby teens changes behavior. I don’t have children but as an aunt and godmother to 3 girls I think I can do something to prevent they will suffer domestic violence from their boyfriends. Thanks!!!
As a teen mom of a young man and a victim of domestic violence I know there is something I can do to help even its only to advocate. These teens need to be reminded that they are special and they dont deserve to treated like they are inhuman.
Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your
articles? I mean, what you say is important and all.
Nevertheless think of if you added some great images
or videos to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and clips, this blog could definitely be one of the most beneficial in its field.
Wonderful blog!
Thank you so much! We try to make ours as interesting as possible with photos and videos but can always improve! Really appreciate your feedback!
