On Saturday, October 15th Empire Beauty School celebrated Domestic Violence Awareness Month and graciously donated all proceeds from the day to Safe Harbor. The School offered breakfast for purchase, dollar donation cards and raffled several gift bags filled with products and coupons to students and clients. The students were dressed in tie dye or purple shirts. The atmosphere was quite festive from the purple and white balloons that greeted clients at the door to the decorations placed throughout the salon. Many of the clients and stylists were more than happy to smile for the camera in honor of the cause. This ‘Day of Beauty’ was about getting the latest looks in hair, skin and nails, while nurturing inner beauty and giving back to the community.
