Safe Harbor Internship Opportunities

Safe Harbor is a resource center in Henrico County for those who are impacted by sexual violence, domestic violence, and human trafficking. Our mission is to provide the support that survivors of sexual and domestic violence and human trafficking need to overcome their crisis and transform their lives. Our interns play a significant role in helping us carry out that mission. We collaborate with our interns to develop an in-depth learning experience based on intern skills, strengths, interests, and career goals. Safe Harbor offers internship opportunities throughout the year, and positions are available on our Safe Houses teams, our Counseling & Advocacy team, and Education & Outreach team. The number of interns we accept varies by semester based on our needs and available office space.
