Safe Harbor and the University of Richmond are partnering on two important projects to raise awareness of sexual and domestic violence. The Clothesline Project and Take Back the Night march are annual events on the University of Richmond Campus. They will be taking place Tuesday, April 9.

The Clothesline Project provides survivors of domestic violence an opportunity to share their stories on t-shirts. These create a powerful display of the experience of intimate partner violence. This event will take place from 9 am to 5 pm on the Boatwright Memorial Library Lawn (rain site is Dining Hall Lobby). Safe Harbor representatives will be available at the event to answer questions about Safe Harbor and to provide support. Learn more and join this event on the Facebook event page.

University of Richmond’s Take Back the Night event will occur at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9 in the University Forum. Speakers from the administration, student groups and Safe Harbor will be sharing information about sexual violence and resources available.

We are proud to support these events and hope you will join us there!
