Safe Harbor was honored to participate in One Billion Rising RVA. Picture 009On February 14, 2013, many gathered to learn more about the issues of sexual and domestic violence, how they can help and shared their voice and their dance moves to deomonstrate their committment to ending sexual and domestic violence.

Organizers and Emcee of OBR RVAThe event was organized by our friends and partners at the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance. Held at the Richmond Coliseum, vendors shared information about local resources and an array of speakers addressed the impact of sexual and domestic violence in their personal lives, in our community and in our world. Safe Harbor Board of Directors member Claire Sheppard was one of the featured speakers.
