We are so grateful for the support we receive from the RVA community!
Mother’s Day was extra special for Safe Harbor. To read about those who made it special, click here.
Here are some other groups who supported Safe Harbor in May:
- Board for Womens Health – $5,000 grant for sexual violence services & donation drive at their Spring luncheon
- Primrose School of Midlothian – proceeds of their Spring Fair benefitted SH – over $1,500
- Republican Womens Club – donation drive at their May meeting
- Gila Chapter of Jewish Women International — donated books for Safe Harbor’s Children’s Library
- I.O.U. (interfaith group) painted our conference room! Read more about the group’s efforts here.
- All Brands (sewing store in Henrico) opened up their store for a day of sewing RHART Bags – this was the second piece of the Monument Heights Baptist Church “Love in Action” day (featured last month).
We greatly appreciate your support! We could not do this work without the backing of our community. Thank you!
