Safe Harbor Chosen as “No Room at the Inn” Charity Recipient

Safe Harbor is honored to be one of the charity recipients for the Church of the Redeemer‘s Annual “No Room at the Inn” event. This event displays hundreds of nativity scenes and is scheduled for Saturday, December 7 10 am to 8 pm and Sunday, December 8 9 am to 4 pm at the church (8275 Meadowbridge Road, Mechanicsville).

A gala will be held Friday, December 6 7-10 pm to preview the displays and will also include live and silent auction items. This is an adults-only event.

Proceeds from the nativity scene display and gala will benefit Safe Harbor, Mechanicsville Churches Emergency Function (MCEF) Rapid Rehousing program and the Church of the Redeemer’s Haiti missions. Event organizers hope to raise $15,000 to support these worthy causes.
