Safe Harbor & Virginia Burlesque Festival

We are delighted to partner with the Virginia Burlesque Festival! This festival celebrates healthy sexual expression — a focus of our work promoting healthy sexuality. We look forward to continuing conversations about healthy sexuality with those we meet!

The festival’s theme is “History. Variety. Empowerment. Evolution.” It takes place Friday, May 31-Sunday June 2 in locations around RVA. Workshops are available for those who perform with nationally (and internationally) known artists. For those wishing to see the performers in action, there will be shows Saturday and Sunday (and a meet and greet and movie screening Friday night). Safe Harbor will be sharing information throughout the festival events! Come see us at the Meet and Greet Friday night 9 pm to midnight at the New York Deli in Carytown (2920 West Cary Street) or at the performances Saturday night 8 pm and 1030 at the Dogtown Theater (109 West 15th Street). We hope you will come out to see these performing artists and to see you there!
