Executive Director Kathleen Demro Honored

Safe Harbor’s Executive Director, Kathleen Demro, was honored by the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance as one of the 30 leaders in the Alliance’s first 30 years. She received this honor at the Alliance’s Annual Gala December 3, 2011.

Kathleen began her service in this field while she was a student at William & Mary. She has served in local sexual and domestic violence programs, as a Victim Witness advocate and as a grant monitor at the Department of Criminal Justice Services. She serves on the Alliance’s Governing Body and Training Institute. Prior to becoming Safe Harbor’s Executive Director, she served on our Board of Directors.
