Child Trauma Intervention Program

Through the Child Trauma Intervention Program, we provide developmentally appropriate counseling services to children and youth exposed to sexual or domestic violence. Services are available in individual and group settings in both English and Spanish.

Exposure to violence can have detrimental effects to the development of a child. Highly skilled counselors employ trauma-informed approaches to deliver counseling that helps build resiliency and healing. Counselors also work with the caregivers, providing education and parenting support.

To access these services or to schedule an appointment, please call (804) 249-9470 extension 12. Leave your full name and number and your call will be returned within 48 business hours.

We provide services to anyone who has experienced sexual and domestic violence regardless of race, gender, age, national origin, gender identity or expression, faith, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity and geographic location. Our services are available in both English and Spanish, and all services are offered free of charge to anyone seeking help.
