The festival’s theme is “History. Variety. Empowerment. Evolution.” It takes place Friday, May 31-Sunday June 2 in locations around RVA. Workshops are available for those who perform with nationally (and internationally) known artists. For those wishing to see the performers in action, there will be shows Saturday and Sunday (and a meet and greet and movie screening Friday night). No one would want to live in a shelter on Mother’s Day (or any day) and these amazing donors who made this day brighter for those we serve.

Jewish Women International provided flowers and cosmetics from OPI for those living in our emergency Shelter.

Uptown Alley provided bowling passes and food (not to mention a FUN time) for families we serve.

Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens donated passes to the gardens for moms and their families.
