Safe Harbor was featured in the Saturday, August 17 edition of the Richmond Times Dispatch. The article focused on funding received from the Altria Companies Employee Community Fund (ACECF) for local non-profits.
Safe Harbor was one of only 6 organizations funded at the highest amount ($40,000). Over 200 organizations applied for funding and 120 received awards (84 of these were in central Virginia). Funds received will support survivors of sexual and domestic violence in Safe Harbor’s housing program.
