Winter 2013 Volunteer Training GraduatesWe are thrilled to welcome our newest advocates! The Winter 2013 Volunteer Training series concluded Tuesday, February 19. Graduates completed over 30 hours of intensive training related to sexual and domestic violence in order to serve throughout Safe Harbor’s volunteer program. Volunteers will be serving in many capacities including:

  • Administrative Team
  • Child Advocacy
  • Community Outreach and Education including VCCW and Speaker’s Bureau
  • Court Advocacy
  • Governance
  • Hospital Accompaniment (RHART)
  • House Team
  • Multi-Lingual/Multi-Cultural Team
  • State Hotline (a program of our training partners — the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance)
  • Volunteer Engagement
